Lars Erik Nielsen is CEO of Uretek,
an engineering company that provides stabilization and foundation solutions for, among others, residential buildings and institutions. Uretek uses BC-Technic as a supplier of the special bolts and nuts required to assemble specific foundation piles.

When Uretek has construction projects with challenges such as soft ground and poor soil bearing capacity, they use stabilizing foundation piles that are screwed into the ground instead of casting with concrete. Each ground screw can be up to 20 meters long, and for every section up to two meters, there must be a joint where the sections are fastened together with heavy steel bolts from BC-Technic.
