CERTEX Denmark A/S manufactures and sells everything related to lifting equipment. They supply everything from small lifting beams and tools to large custom-made lifting gear. Special orders are handled by CERTEX’s engineering departments, which often require bolts that are anything but standard.

Lis Schøning is responsible for purchasing special bolts, screws, washers, and nuts for CERTEX’s special projects, and she is therefore frequently in contact with BC-Technic. If we send an order to BC-Technic with something they don’t have in stock, they are very quick to procure it. Or they quickly come back with an alternative. They do their best to meet our needs.”

At CERTEX, things need to be well organized. It’s unacceptable to receive incomplete orders when employees are waiting to proceed with their work.

“I once received a partial delivery from a supplier. I got a long explanation about system issues, but I just need my products. That problem would never have happened with BC-Technic.”

Lightning-Fast Delivery of Special Orders

For CERTEX, it is also crucial that their suppliers deliver on time. These days, long delivery times are common in construction and industry, and this usually does not improve when it comes to special orders like those CERTEX places with BC-Technic. For urgent tasks, Lis Schøning knows exactly who to call:

“We have many projects where we use BC-Technic. When we have something urgent, they can deliver within a few days. Elsewhere, we would have to wait 2-3 weeks for special items. Other suppliers only look at their own stock, whereas BC-Technic looks worldwide to source what we need. They try to think outside the box so the goods can arrive as quickly as possible.”
